Cole Insurance Group Launches New Charity Campaign to Help Provide Therapy Services Through Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship
Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- Cole Insurance Group has announced the latest beneficiary of their ongoing community enrichment program, which serves families of the greater Houston metro area. The current campaign fundraises for local nonprofit Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship, to assist in providing customized therapies for individuals with physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs. Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship provides therapeutic horsemanship programs for children and adults, resulting in a wide variety of physical, psychological and social benefits which help each individual to realize their full potential. All lessons are taught by a certified PATH instructor (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), with therapeutic benefits deriving through the teaching of riding skills, as well as through the relationship with the horse. Participants take part in the care and grooming of the horse, which improves range of motion and has a relaxing, calming effect. Those suffering from PTSD, anxiety disorders, cerebral palsy, as well as from learning and intellectual disabilities, may realize improved strength, coordination and muscle tone, independence, self-control, sequential thinking and social relationships through Reining Strength’s programs.
