Houzeo Launches a Cutting-Edge Showing Management Service
Houzeo.com, the premier real estate platform, just launched Houzeo Showings. This new feature allows home sellers to manage their showings and buyers and buyer agents to request showings online.

Homebuyers and buyer agents can now request showings on properties listed on Houzeo.com online. Home sellers can set up and manage their showing calendar online too.
ShowingTime and most other solutions in this space are geared towards agents and don't allow home sellers to set up their preferences. Additionally, if a buyer wants to schedule a showing via ShowingTime, they cannot do it themselves. They have to reach out to an agent to do it for them.
Houzeo Showings is different. Sellers directly control their setup and their schedule. Additionally, unrepresented buyers can request showings online via Houzeo.com. The buyers do have to go through an advanced verification process, however, before they can view access instructions.
"Showings are a key part of the home sale process, but even so, the user experience varies depending upon where you're at. ShowingTime isn't widely used in most of California, while it is in Virginia. We launched Houzeo Showings so we can provide a uniform experience no matter where the property is located," Amit Dhameja, Houzeo CEO said.
Glen Cornwell, a Flat Fee MLS Georgia broker, highlighted that the next steps after their listing goes live are typically the most confounding ones for a home seller. "The fact that showing requests come in right there on the Houzeo mobile app, and you can accept, reject or reschedule showings is critical for a home seller. Additionally, when the inspector or the appraiser wants to schedule time, it's pretty convenient to do it on the same platform," Cornwell added.
Using Houzeo Showings is pretty easy. When a broker makes the home seller's listing live, the seller is asked to review their showing settings. Once confirmed, the showings are live on the Houzeo platform and the seller doesn't have to deal with showing-related calls anymore.
