Howard Shimmel, President of Janus Insights and Analysis, is now an advisor for DoGood Media and the OPTin Network. Previously, Shimmel was Chief Research Officer at Turner Broadcasting System, where he managed all multi-screen entertainment, news and sports research, as well as corporate analysis.

Prior to his senior role at Turner, he has held other leadership roles at The Nielsen Company, America Online, and MTV Networks.
