WEST CHESTER, Pa., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HRDQ, a developer and publisher of experiential learning resources, announces the availability of "Understand Generational Differences" – a reproducible training tool that allows participants to better navigate the challenge of a workplace comprised of large age differences.
There are four generations in the workplace today: Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials. Generation Z is fast approaching working age as well. This program will help learners gain a better understanding of these generations and how their unique experiences and expectations impact their view of the workplace. Participants will be able to identify the challenges of working with multiple generations and learn ways to improve communication gaps between employees.
"This tool will help anyone in the workplace understand and mitigate issues that stem from the large differences between generations," said Bradford Glaser, President and CEO of HRDQ. "Participants will learn techniques that foster respectful communication and positive interaction with all groups."
In this program, participants will be able to identify the changing workplace and describe the characteristics of each generation, as well as examine the stereotypes associated with each group. They will be able to identify potential challenges when interacting with the different generations and develop an action plan to connect with all employees in their workplace, no matter their age.
The half day classroom version includes an instructor guide, participant guide, PowerPoint presentation, course overview, learning summary, and course evaluation. The one hour e-learning version includes a PowerPoint presentation, quizzes, and case study.
