hubraum, the tech incubator of Deutsche Telekom, welcomes its newest investment with the TEXEL team. With TEXEL’s VR/AR backbone platform, content owners and broadcasters can offer viewers and sports fans a live immersive next generation audio/video experience of the most desired events, globally. The in-stadium excitement is no longer limited to the lucky few that can afford it and are nearby the event. The “virtual seat” experience becomes possible via a proprietary high quality VR/AR service platform. The platform also includes social features and monetization tools.
