HUNGRY, the online marketplace that connects independent chefs with the corporate office catering market, today announced it has donated funds equivalent to more than 70,000 meals to Washington, D.C.-area and Philadelphia-area food assistance centers, including Feeding America and the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). HUNGRY donates funds equivalent to one meal for every two purchased to those in need via its “Fight Against Hunger” program.

One in eight people and one in five children in the U.S. struggles with hunger, according to Feeding America. “No one can thrive on an empty stomach,” said Jeff Grass, HUNGRY CEO. “The HUNGRY team is honored to help feed those in need.
