Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program Installs Three New Board Members

FLEMINGTON, N.J., Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "We are pleased to welcome these three accomplished individuals to our board, and look forward to their contributions as we serve and support the greater Hunterdon County area," commented Barry W. Scheier, LNHA, Executive Committee President.

The first of the three, Frank Greenagel, is a clinical social worker specializing in addiction and recovery treatment. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Frank consults for a variety of treatment programs and universities and serves on the Board of Directors for NASW-NJ. He also sits on the Alumni Council of Rutgers School of Social Work. Additionally, Frank is the Public Policy Chair of the NJ Society of Addiction Medicine. Frank has served on the New Jersey Governor's Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse (GCADA) since 2011 and was the Chairman of the New Jersey Heroin and Other Opiates Task Force. In 2018, the President of the New Jersey State Senate, Stephen Sweeney, appointed Frank to New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council.

Donna Puglia, the second new member to join the board, is a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Since 2009, she has worked in the field of addiction, servicing many different levels of care, including inpatient and IOP/OP. Her considerable knowledge of trauma and trauma issues has been especially beneficial when serving clients.

The third newest board member is Ed Delia, President of the NJ-based business branding and marketing firm, Delia Associates, founded in 1964 by his father, Michael A. Delia. Under Ed's leadership, Delia Associates has contributed greatly to the success and growth of a variety of regional and international organizations. In 2018, Ed donated the branding and web development services of his firm for the purpose of elevating HDAP's image as a critical area resource. Ed has held numerous non-profit board positions during his career, providing guidance in the areas of brand image, community relations, communications, visibility, and fund-raising outreach. Ed says, "I am grateful for being a part of this mission and opportunity to work alongside people with such diverse and accomplished backgrounds."

ABOUT THE HUNTERDON DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAM
Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program, Inc. is a progressive, science-based nonprofit outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment program. The nonprofit organization provides treatment to a broad range of clients who experience an improvement in the quality of their lives as a result of the treatment, intervention, and prevention programs. They have proudly been serving the greater Hunterdon County area since 1977. HDAP's mission states that they will serve all Hunterdon County residents regardless of their ability to pay. The nonprofit organization is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and is licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Addiction Services (for both OP and IOP levels of care, and they are in-network with most major insurance companies).
