Marketing agency Hurrdat announces the early release of its local search engine optimization (SEO) solution designed for small businesses as part of an effort to help businesses impacted by COVID-19.

Hurrdat, a marketing agency headquartered in Omaha, NE, is launching its local search optimization solution for small businesses ahead of schedule. The solution, named Local Search Fuel, was intended for a Q4 2020 release. After seeing a need for immediate local search help among small and medium-sized businesses during the coronavirus outbreak, Hurrdat accelerated development of the solution for an early launch.

Local Search Fuel is designed specifically to help small businesses compete more effectively and gain better visibility in local search engine results. Through this solution, businesses are asked to fill out a form with important information, such as business name, address, and phone number. The information provided in the form is then used by the search engine optimization (SEO) experts at Hurrdat to create, update, and manage online local business listings.

“Local Search Fuel was born from the custom local SEO work we are doing for over 3,000 business locations across the U.S. and has been in development for some time now,” said Bill Hipsher, President of Hurrdat. "We planned to launch the solution later in 2020. However, as COVID-19’s impact grew, we noticed our existing clients were struggling to keep business hours, services, and other important details accurate in their online local listings. We knew that a solution like what we were developing with Local Search Fuel could solve their problems.”

Seeing an opportunity to help local businesses working through COVID-19 restrictions, Hurrdat paused development of other digital marketing solutions and shifted focus toward launching Local Search Fuel ahead of its intended release. As part of this early launch, Hurrdat is offering its solution for free to small businesses in Nebraska and Utah, where the company has offices. The first 200 small businesses that sign up for Local Search Fuel will receive the solution for 90 days without charge or obligation to continue services after the 90-day period is up.

“The sign-up process is very simple for small business owners and takes less than 15 minutes,” said Meghan Trapp, Agency Director at Hurrdat. “If businesses need additional assistance, we have a customer service team standing by to help.”

Hurrdat has optimized local listings in Google, Yext, and hundreds of other online business directories for more than 3,000 U.S. business locations. In addition, the agency has helped existing clients monitor local listings and make timely updates for COVID-19 business changes.
