This October 2018 the Eden Gordon Media, Women of Influence, Fall speaking tour will be spearheaded by featured author and identity life coach, Linda Breitman of San Diego, California. This tour's timing is so appropriate at this time in our nation. Women are amazing, they are resilient and they need to be honored for their courage and strength to fight for justice, mercy and the value of life. These powerful women also include Andi Buerger and Sonja Bentley Zant, who are changing our world to seek out justice for the oppressed, to remove adversity, to engage the culture and to help women understand their identity.
Women of Influence from Oregon, Andi Buerger - Human Trafficking Survivor Speaks Out
Andi Buerger will begin her speaking tour in Washington, D.C. on November 7, 2018. She will be a featured guest for government agencies and law enforcement. In addition, Andi Buerger will be speaking to universities in the North East the week of November 12-15, 2018 focused on trauma and healing. Andi Buerger is an international speaker, corporate trainer, educator, business owner, writer, media talent, public relations and marketing consultant, nonprofit executive, and community ambassador. Andi is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Beulah’s Place, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing temporary shelter services to at-risk homeless teen boys and girls. She is in the process of locating a permanent facility in which to rescue and house more at-risk teens.

Hello! It’s me, Sonja Bentley Zant, author of Hurricane Season.
Back when I first wrote this story, I lived in a hurricane prone area of Florida, and so I have a personal understanding of the realities of the kind of storm that blows in, blows up, and blows out of your life and leaves everything swirly and messy. And after living in Northern California for the past four years, I also know how it feels to have a fire come within a hundred feet of your home, threatening to strip you of the basics you sometimes take for granted.
Natural disasters are inevitable in life, and there are so many things that happen to us that are beyond our control. I know that now. And so whenever I have the opportunity to share the concepts I write about in my books, there’s one empowering life strategy I always hope people will take away and make their own: It’s called nonnegotiable living.
Life is better lived when you have your nonnegotiables figured out.
When you decide for yourself what your “must haves” or “your deal breakers” are in your life and in your relationships, the list almost always consists of things no one can take away from you unless you let them. Clearly knowing what you want makes it much less likely that you will settle for what you get, and I’m a firm believer that we live in a culture that lulls us into settling.
As I head back out into the world with all of my stories and ideas, I’m stepping out with a desire to inspire my readers and the people I meet with a new kind of hope — one that starts with a pen and a piece of paper, and the courage to name your own nonnegotiables.
