HWWMOH Foundation Co-Founder, Medal of Honor Recipient Woody Williams, is on a Multi-state Tour in Support of Gold Star Families
The Hershel "Woody" Williams Medal of Honor Foundation team and the organization's co-founder, Medal of Honor recipient Hershel Woody Williams, are on a multi-state tour in support of Gold Star Families. Starting in West Virginia, the tour includes cities in Texas, Louisiana, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
MONPELIER, Vt., Oct. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In what is a banner week for the Hershel "Woody" Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, the organization and their 95-year-old co-founder Woody Williams, are taking part in the dedications of four Gold Star Families Memorial Monuments, the groundbreaking of a Gold Star Families Memorial project, as well as other various events in support of Gold Star Families and the legacy of their Loved Ones. Dedication and groundbreaking locations include: Weatherford, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, Northfield, VT, Boscawen, NH and Auburn, ME.
As a special part of the tour, Woody and the HWWMOHF Team will be traveling by way of RV with a caravan of motorcyclists and law enforcement agencies to raise awareness about Gold Star Families and the legacy of their fallen Heroes. Some of those participating include members of the Boston Wounded Vet Run led by founder Andrew Biggio, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Nam Knights, and the Manchester Police Department.

Each Gold Star Family Memorial Monument project is led by a committee who spearheads the effort in their community. Gold Star Families, Veterans, patriotic civilians, community leaders, and many others in the general public make up these all volunteer committees. They are united by a common mission to honor, recognize, and serve Gold Star Families and the legacy of their fallen Heroes.
