Hyland's Partners with Operation Gratitude for Holiday Letter Writing Campaign
Carson, CA (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Hyland's Inc., the oldest and largest manufacturer of homeopathic medicines in the United States, announced today that it is partnering with Operation Gratitude to provide personalized letters to U.S. Service Members deployed overseas this holiday season. Hyland’s has established a digital letter writing campaign, entitled “From Home, With Love,” to provide heartfelt support, well wishes, gratitude and holiday cheer to those protecting our country.
The letter writing process is simple, quick, and easily accessible, allowing those within and beyond the Hyland’s community to participate.
“The goal with ‘From Home, With Love’ is to come together to show extraordinary support and appreciation for those serving our country during the holidays,” states Lisa Shapiro, Hyland’s Brand Manager. “We’ve developed a user-friendly platform to simplify the letter writing process, and we hope thousands of Americans will join us in giving thanks to these amazing men and women.”
In addition to the letters, Hyland’s will donate 40,000 DEFEND™ Severe Cold & Flu units to be included in the Operation Gratitude care packages which are hand-packed with donated snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items by thousands of Operation Gratitude volunteers. The care packages and personalized letters will be delivered to American Service Members stationed around the world in time for the holidays.
For Hyland’s Ambassador Mike Ehredt, the “From Home, With Love” campaign holds special significance. As founder of Project America Run, Ehredt has made it his mission to express gratitude to those serving overseas. From 2010 to 2012, Ehredt, a retired Army veteran, ran 6,570 miles across the United States in a personal journey to honor and thank the Servicemen and Women who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Over Veterans Day weekend, Ehredt met with over 800 volunteers at Operation Gratitude headquarters to assist with the holiday letter writing and care package production.
