Senior Enterprise Executives Join HyperGrid to Drive Go-to-Market Execution and Revenue Growth
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HyperGrid, a market leader in hybrid Cloud Management Platforms (CMP), today announced the appointment of key executives in sales, marketing and product, achieving a critical milestone of the accelerated growth strategy enacted by newly appointed CEO, Manoj Nair. Joining the Company's executive team are David Weier as its Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales; Said Syed as Vice President and Principal Technologist, Hybrid Cloud Solutions; and, Peter Lunk as Vice President of Marketing.

In his role as HyperGrid's Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Weier is responsible for driving HyperGrid's enterprise sales strategies, field operations and expanding the sales team to meet increased demand from global enterprises and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Weier comes to HyperGrid with a more than 20 year track record of surpassing revenue targets at technology companies ranging from early stage startups to large enterprises. Most recently, Weier served as a Vice President of Sales at SignalFx. He has also held senior sales executive positions at companies including E8 Security (acquired by VMware), Solera Networks (acquired by Blue Coat Systems), SilverTail Systems (acquired by RSA), Opsware (acquired by Hewlett-Packard) and PTC, among others.
As Vice President and Principal Technologist, Hybrid Cloud Solutions, Syed is responsible for leading HyperGrid's solutions development, technical sales engineering and customer success. Syed will drive adoption of the Company's flagship CMP solution to customers and the larger end user community, develop the technology partner eco-system, and support product development and R&D efforts. Most recently, Syed served as Director UX Design, Hybrid Cloud Product Incubation & Head of HPE DEV at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) where he led strategic programs placing HPE as a leader in the Hyper Converged and Hybrid Cloud space, including the establishment of HPE DEV and HPE DESIGN initiatives. Prior to HPE, Syed has spent time leading hybrid cloud platform and services engineering, product management and sales engineering teams for Verizon Cloud, Dell, VCE and Sun Microsystems.
In his role as Vice President of Marketing, Lunk is responsible for creating market demand and strengthening the HyperGrid brand worldwide. He will focus on driving go-to-market communications strategy, as well as lead HyperGrid's product line positioning, demand generation, branding and field marketing efforts. Lunk comes to HyperGrid with more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience in enterprise technology and cybersecurity at companies ranging from pre-IPO SaaS startups to Fortune 500 public enterprises. Most recently, Lunk served as Vice President of Marketing at Arkose Labs, a SaaS based security company. Prior to Arkose Labs, Lunk held marketing leadership positions at Menlo Security, Wurldtech, a GE Company, Juniper Networks and Extreme Networks.
