Carita Weaver of i5 web works Receives Chairman's Award from Colleyville Chamber of Commerce
Colleyville, Texas (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- Carita Weaver, co-founder and partner of i5 web works, an internet marketing company in Dallas Fort Worth, received the prestigious Chairman's Award at the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce 2014 Annual Awards Banquet. The awards ceremony honors outstanding community leaders and member contributions from 2013.
The Chairman’s Award from the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce is given at the discretion of the chairman of the board of directors to a business or individual, and recognizes exceptional performance and dedication to the continued success of the Chamber.
According to Cecilia Monacelli, chairwoman of the board, Weaver was chosen due to her significant work in helping the Chamber communicate its vision through a new website.
“Beginning with our board retreat on January 2013, we seized the opportunity to develop a future vision for our Chamber and identify the initiatives to help us realize that vision, which is promoting opportunity and prosperity for our members,” states Monacelli. “Carita is responsible for creating that new website — a significant contribution in carrying out the initiative I set forth at the beginning of my term of service and the realization of the board’s vision for our Chamber.”
Weaver and her business partner and co-founder, Michael Burns, are the well-recognized faces of i5 web works, which was founded in 2005 and provides internet marketing services in Dallas Fort Worth including custom website design, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising and social media management. With a “divide and conquer” strategy, the duo is active in numerous business and community organizations, oftentimes providing pro bono expertise and services.
