iCEV to Host Second Annual Virtual Conference
'CTE Inspired: A Virtual Conference Hosted by iCEV will feature sessions led by educational and industry leaders from across the country.'
LUBBOCK, Texas, May 17, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- iCEV's second annual virtual conference, CTE Inspired, will be held twice, July 27-29 and August 9-11. While the same sessions will be streamed on both conference dates, participants can attend one or both conference dates, depending on their schedules and availability. Featuring 90 sessions led by educational and industry leaders, CTE Inspired will provide innovative tools and methods for teachers to implement in their CTE classrooms. CTE Inspired is free to attend, and registration will remain open through the event.
CTE Inspired will feature three of the world's most elite keynote speakers, Angela Duckworth, Temple Grandin and Daymond John. Angela Duckworth will kick off the conference by sharing her insights on grit and resiliency and strategies to help attendees achieve their greatest potential. Dr. Temple Grandin's speech will focus on ensuring the needs of all students, specifically special populations students, are met within CTE classrooms. Daymond John will wrap up the conference by highlighting his unique goal-setting and achievement strategies, which will empower attendees to make positive changes in their lives.
Conference sessions will be divided into 17 content specific strands. Eight strands will showcase best practices for each iCEV subject area. A strand dedicated for CTE directors and administrators will address strategies for accessing funding sources and district-wide implementation of iCEV resources. Additional workshop strands include industry certifications, pedagogy, technology in the classroom, adult education and more.
