Legendary global sound leader AIWA is announcing its relaunch at CES 2023. Originally founded by Sony, AIWA was known for offering premium technology and features in portable consumer electronics products at mid-tier retail prices. Now, with Legacy Audio and Infinity Brands (parent company of Altec Lansing) at the helm, AIWA is back with revived technology for a new generation.

For over 50 years AIWA has been a trusted, recognizable brand known for innovation, quality, sleek designs, and value-added price points. Its new line will honor the brand’s heritage with revamped sound products including earphones, headphones, speakers, retro boomboxes, and more. AIWA will also extend its proven technology to introduce a new generation of smart appliances, bringing innovation further into the home with kitchen, floor care, and heating and cooling products.

AIWA’s new audio line will pay homage to the original brand offerings, providing small products with big sound. The line will tap into the retro and nostalgic core of the brand, putting a modern twist on old favorites including the AIWA EXOS Boombox Speaker. AIWA’s home line will introduce the next generation of smart appliances that meld convenience and technology. Similar to its sound products, its home line will provide a comfortable versatile style that can spice up kitchen, living, indoor and outdoor spaces. From the Temperature Controlled Travel Coffee Mug, to the Quick Cook Convection Air Fryer, to the 6-in-1 Cordless Vacuum, there are products for everyone and every lifestyle.

As the revived brand continues to grow, AIWA is actively seeking partners for licensing and collaborations. With audio and home already supported via Sakar and Xtreme Cables respectively, the home theater, accessories, laptop and gaming categories are currently available for licenses.
