TAMARACK, Idaho, Dec. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tamarack Resort announces the opening of The Reserve, a new upscale restaurant located in the heart of The Village at Tamarack. Along with a classy yet comfortable ambience, guests will experience a hearty fusion of Mediterranean, Italian and American flavors featuring fresh, seasonally sourced ingredients as well as craft beer, wine and handcrafted cocktails prepared with homemade syrups and shrubs. The Reserve will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Reservations can made on Resy.com or via the Resy app (available on iOS and Android).
"The opening of The Reserve marks a historic turning point for Tamarack Resort," says President of Tamarack Resort Scott Turlington. "Opening a restaurant of this caliber, led by a team of culinary experts and guest-service professionals, then add to this that The Reserve is in the heart of America's newest Alpine Village flanked by a majestic all-season mountain resort, and the experience for our guests will be unforgettable."
The Reserve's chic, modern design is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows, which create a stylish, relaxing environment accented by rustic wood tables and plush restaurant and bar seating. Guests will also appreciate the al fresco seating available on the restaurant's expansive balcony.
Tamarack's culinary excellence is led by Executive Chef, Gabriel Ortega. Ortega joins Tamarack after leading culinary efforts at several award-winning restaurants and hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, formerly The-Ritz Carlton Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel) and The Drake Hotel Oak Brook in Chicago. Having started his culinary career at a young age, Chef Gabe became an executive chef at age 24, later winning the prestigious Chef of the Year award from the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association. Chef Gabe's passion for cooking was heavily influenced by his mother and those influences continue today in his cooking styles and techniques.
The Reserve will be led by General Manager Mike Blanchard, who returns to his Idaho roots from Sonoma Valley, California, where he held progressive roles in the food and beverage division with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
