Jackson County residents can now access in-person medication-assisted treatment for opioids, alcohol and other substances, as impaired driving reaches record highs across the region.

Statewide, Oregon saw a sustained drop in overdose deaths in 2025, following a 16% year-over-year decline in 2024 to 1,544 deaths — the state's first annual decrease since 2016, according to the Oregon Health Authority.
