Ideum Receives Hardware Patent for New Manufacturing Process for Multitouch Displays
This month, Ideum was granted a hardware patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The company received the patent for its unique and ruggedized multitouch display enclosures.
CORRALES, N.M., March 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ideum is pleased to announce the grant of U.S. Patent No. 10,255,509. The patent describes a new method of using extruded metal to create a ruggedized frame to encase digital multitouch displays. This method also includes fabrication of a metal back panel to provide structural rigidity and provide a mounting surface for the display itself.
The patent recognizes the continually-advancing quality and innovation represented in Ideum's design and manufacturing processes.
