iFactor Announces PCI Certification, Delivers Highest Payment Security Standards

iFactor completed work to meet the PCI Data Security Standards as part of ongoing investments to enhance the security of its solutions and to offer additional innovative options for mobile payments and customer engagement solutions. To achieve compliance, the company was evaluated on 12 security requirements that measure network security, protection of cardholder data, maintenance of a vulnerability management program, management of access control measures, regular monitoring and testing of networks, and maintenance of an information security policy. This certification is in addition to the yearly SOC 2 Type 2 audit that evaluates iFactor’s operational excellence, security levels, system integrity, and application and data controls for information from its clients.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
