Illinois Schools Extend 3 Year Contract for the New VISION Student Information System After Successful Pilot
Crestwood Schools and Paris High School Sign 3-Year Contracts with VISION SIS to deliver value and innovation to students, staff, and families, after successful 6-month pilot.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Crestwood Schools and Paris High School are leading the way in Illinois by committing to 3-year contracts with Vision SIS (http://www.visionsis.com), the new student information system from Computer Resources.
"We've been working with Computer Resources for years and have always appreciated the level of support we've received," Jim Pattenaude, Director of Technology for Crestwood Schools said. "When they announced VISION, their new SIS, this past summer, we were happy to try it. The user experience, family engagement, mobile apps, and data dashboards all looked great. After 6 months, we were sure VISION was everything it promised to be and we were happy to extend our contract for 3 years."
Computer Resources has been serving schools across the U.S. since 1978.
The new Vision Student Information System focuses more than 40 years of experience into an SIS that is easy to use for parents, students, staff, and schools. VISION's native mobile applications, data analytics and reporting, and personalized family and staff interfaces are key elements that schools rely on for successful student management.
"Illinois schools deserve innovative, easy-to-use solutions that fit into reasonable budgets," Michael Bronder, Computer Resources' Executive Director said. "Managing schools is hard work and an SIS should help make it easier. Making sure parents, students, teachers, and staff have exactly the data they need to support their students, whether they are at a desk or at the dinner table, is one key part of how we help. Backing that up with world-class support is the another."
The VISION SIS will be debuting in Illinois at the 2019 ICE technology show in Schaumburg, IL where they hope to find the next Crestwood or Paris High School. Beyond a need for Illinois state compliance reporting, schools that will find VISION a good fit will be committed to engaging their students, parents, and teachers with the data they need to manage educational outcomes. Vision SIS will put their 40 years of experience in serving schools to work, along with putting actionable student information in the hands of administrators, teachers, parents, and students to work towards, meet, and exceed those educational promises.
