Image-Line Announce FL Studio Groove for Windows 8
(PRWEB) September 04, 2013 -- Image-Line note that FL Studio Groove is available from the Windows App store and it will be on introductory sale for $4.99 USD until September 30, 2013 when it will return to the regular price of $11.99 USD.
FL Studio Groove features a 10 pad sample-based drum machine and 5 polyphonic synth channels so users can compose, arrange, edit, mix and perform professional quality music.
Synthesizers: FL Studio Groove ships with a wide range of bass, keys, lead, pad, sfx and synth sounds. The flexible dual-oscillator, wave-shape driven, design with filters, 3 envelopes and LFO architecture will ensure users can create fresh and unique sounds for years to come.
Keyboard: Take control over the synthesizers with FL Studio Groove's two-tier touch keyboard, perfect for playing chords and melodies. Velocity is enabled through vertical position on the keys.
Drums & percussion: The 10 drum-pads feature velocity-through-position to allow users to play with feeling and get the right groove. Each pad can layer up two samples for complex sample mash-ups. A comprehensive library of percussion samples is including kicks, snares, toms, hats, cymbals, sfx and more.
Effects: Classic and modern effects are available including a Bit Crusher (for lo-fi gritty sounds), Flanger & Phaser (to create complex stereo washes and spacey effects), Filters (low, high pass & vowel-voice simulation), Delay (echoes), Reverb (to simulate the sound of large halls through to tight spaces), Panning and Ring modulation (creating screaming-feedback type sounds).
Sequencing: After recording a performance FL Studio Groove's touch-optimized editing features will help users to get the job done with minimal fuss. Users can edit in all the musical parts from scratch here also. The Piano-roll allows note entry and step-entry for percussion tracks. Finally, FL Studio Groove will record the movement of almost any knob or control with the Automation Editor.

Does FL Studio Groove run on Android, iOS & Windows Phone?
There are plans to release FL Studio Groove on Android and iOS; no dates announced yet. Windows Phone is not planned at this stage.
Is FL Studio Groove compatible with FL Studio?
There is no direct compatibility at this stage, although users can export audio from FL Studio Groove to wav format and import that to FL Studio. Future plans include a VST version that will load inside FL Studio and support FL Studio Groove projects and vice-versa.
Is FL Studio Groove compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP?
No. This is a Windows 8 application only, it will run on Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT compatible devices (x86, x64, ARM processors). Multi-touch capability is required to fully exploit the application.
Is this related to FL Studio Mobile?
No, FL Studio Groove is a separate application. There are plans to integrate the synthesis engine from FL Studio Groove into FL Studio Mobile.
