New York City, NY (PRWEB) March 26, 2015 -- Beginning Monday, March 23, 12:00 p.m. ET, schools and organizations can rally their memberships to VOTE for their organization to be awarded a free playground. Individuals VOTE for their school or organization and can place their ballot once per day through the campaign period, which ends on Wednesday, May 13, 11:00 p.m. ET. The winning organization (one with the most votes) will be announced on Friday, May 15, 2015.
The VOTE for Play program is open to schools, daycare centers, children’s museums (nature, science, or discovery center), community center, park or other children’s organizations. “Our last Vote campaign garnered over 55,000 votes for some 16,000 organizations, so we know how excited communities can get when uniting in a common effort. We wish them all the best and we look forward to awarding another playground to a school or organization,” shared Imagination Playground President, Dave Krishock.
The last VOTE for Play campaign awarded a new playground to Fishtown Playschool, of Philadelphia, PA. Gathering almost 9,000 votes by creating awareness in their community, they received their playground earlier this week.
