ORLANDO, Fla., July 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- iModules, the leader in higher education fundraising and engagement, announced the winners for its inaugural Honor Roll awards during the opening reception of Sizzler 2019, the industry's premiere engagement conference. These awards recognize outstanding achievement from institutions that leverage iModules integrated solution, Encompass.
More than 40 nominations were submitted from 32 institutions worldwide in the following categories: elevate fundraising, gain efficiency, increase engagement, and build brand legacy. The respective categories mirror the company's strategic pillars for success, and the outcomes in which iModules customers can expect when using the product.
"Our panel of industry leaders was impressed with the innovation of each of our winners to demonstrate the creativity that iModules aims to inspire in all of our customers. We are proud to partner with such imaginative institutions who truly embody what this award symbolizes," said Craig Heldman, president and CEO of iModules.
This year's award recipients include:
Build Brand Legacy: Dartmouth College, Alumni Relations Office
In January of 2019 Dartmouth College launched a new initiative to promote their legacy of service and commemorate the institution's 250th anniversary. The "Call To Serve" campaign challenges Dartmouth students, faculty, staff, and alumni to inspire acts of service around the world. The campaign goal is 250,000 collective service hours to demonstrate the power and importance of giving back to the community. Dartmouth's Alumni Relations Office utilized Encompass to set up an online portal that allows people to add hours to existing projects, create new projects, visually track campaign progress in real-time through Scoreboards from iModules, and much more. Already, the campaign has accumulated almost 75% of their goal of 250,000 hours.
Elevate Fundraising: University of Pittsburgh
At the end of their fiscal year in 2018, the University of Pittsburgh leveraged iModules email marketing tools to drive donor solicitations. The team married constituent data from Encompass with the email communications to pre-populate donor forms, personalize the online giving experience, and remind their supporters of previous gift allocations. Through the University of Pittsburgh's strategic communication approach, they became more efficient in their outreach, but also experienced an increase in donations and the open rate of emails. Year over year, the organization sent 370,000 less emails and saw a 91% increase in donor participation, as well as a 158% increase in total gift dollars.
Gain Efficiency: Sage Colleges, Office of Institutional Advancement
The Russell Sage College campus in Troy, New York revolutionized their Class Agent Program through the tools available in Encompass. Last year, the program was managed manually offline, including the distribution of annual care packages and welcome materials. By transitioning their materials to an online platform and not having to hand-mail every document, Sage Colleges improved their program's efficiency both fiscally with thousands of dollars saved in shipping costs and employee time, as well as better data security.
Increase Engagement: Syracuse University, Division of Advancement and External Affairs
In 2017, Syracuse University began using Encompass to improve the office's management of "Central Orange Homecoming," the institution's annual alumni reunion weekend. Since implementation, Syracuse has increased the event's registration numbers by 62% and digital communications supporting Central Orange see an open rate that is 10% higher than other promotional emails. Syracuse expects these numbers to continue to grow in years to come.
In addition to the Honor Roll trophy, winners receive $1,000 to put toward their campus initiatives for continued success. Read more about the full impact of this year's Honor Roll winners, at imodules.com/success.
