Novogradac to Host 2023 Affordable Housing Developers Conference Jan. 11-12, 2023

“The Inflation Reduction Act is an important step toward stabilizing the affordable housing industry, which is still working with high prices to build housing,” said Christina Apostolidis, CPA, a partner in Novogradac’s Naples, Florida office and conference chair.

The affordable housing community saw several key legislative and regulatory updates over the past few months, including enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act and the release of final and temporary regulations for the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) average income set-aside. These and more affordable housing topics will be discussed at the upcoming Novogradac 2023 Affordable Housing Developers Conference Jan. 11-12, 2023, at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

“The Inflation Reduction Act is an important step toward stabilizing the affordable housing industry, which is still working with high prices to build housing,” said Christina Apostolidis, CPA, a partner in Novogradac’s Naples, Florida office and conference chair. “This conference offers an opportunity to hear from experts about how they’re navigating these challenges as well as to network with peers in the community about what they’re doing as well.”

Conference panel topics will include discussion of debt and equity financing, how to succeed in the development process and the Washington Report panel with what’s on the horizon for the 118th Congress after it convenes in January. The full agenda can be found here.

The Novogradac 2023 Affordable Housing Developers Conference is sponsored by Enterprise, Lippes Mathias and R4 Capital.

Novogradac will also offer pre-conference workshops, LIHTC 101: The Basics, and an Acquisition/Rehabilitation Overview Workshop on Jan. 10, 2023. Separate registration fees for the pre-conference workshop apply.
