In the MKNG™ Creativity Festival Announces Family-Friendly Craft Activities
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (PRWEB) September 20, 2018 -- In the MKNG™, a new Hudson Valley festival inspiring and celebrating creativity, announces its family-friendly fun, featuring Halloween crafts by Michaels®, tie dying by Tulip® and Gildan®, a Kids Zone and more hands-on activities for all ages by its 100+ vendors. People who love to DIY, create and craft are welcome to attend on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. Attendees will find “fab-BOO-lous” make and take projects in the Michaels Bootique™, the home of DIY tricks and treats, skeletons, skulls and all things spooky on both Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30. As the go to place to “Boo-it-Yourself”, Michaels will provide supplies to create the creepiest and coolest crafts that will get families into the holiday spirit.
As a nod to Bethel Woods’ history, attendees will get to tie dye their very own t-shirt at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. The Tie Dye Pavilion by Tulip and Gildan will provide attendees with a Gildan t-shirt and Tulip’s One-Step Tie-Dye kit to create easy, bright-colored retro t-shirt designs.
There will be a Kids Zone with special activities for children, including a coloring wall by Crayola. Other Kids Zone activities include: a make your own light-up unicorn headband by TechnoChic; a PlayMais® play table by Playing Unlimited; and face painting and henna body art by The Tipsy Turtle Henna.
The DecoArt tent will have an interactive crafts table for kids where pre-cut materials will inspire children to make an owl out of a paper plate.
In the MKNG will also feature more vendors, craft competitions, celebrity makers, live music by platinum artist Sister Hazel and The Voice’s Brennley Brown, food, craft beer and more.
