The event brought together epilepsy specialists and healthcare professionals from across the state for an evening dedicated to education, collaboration, and advancing excellence in epilepsy care. The summit was designed to create opportunities for clinical learning, discussion of current treatment approaches, and meaningful peer-to-peer networking among professionals working in the epilepsy field.
The Jacksonian Epilepsy Summit takes its name from pioneering English neurologist John Hughlings Jackson, whose work helped shape the modern understanding of epilepsy and whose description of Jacksonian seizures continues to influence neurological practice today.
