Inaugural Class of MIDEO® University Graduates with ACPE Certification
This month, MIDEO® University, a collaboration between the Institute on Healthcare Directives (IHCD), and Your Voice Directives, celebrates the success of its first graduating class. MIDEO® is a the only video advance directive that addresses patient safety by driving down misinterpretation rates that are common with standard documentation.
ERIE, Pa., Aug. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The MIDEO® University graduation marks the completion of a three-month course of study, and matriculation in the role of Advance Care Planning Educator (ACPE).
The ACPE Certification was created by IHCD's training arm with Your Voice Directives, to ensure consistent, high-quality education and evidence-based training to support the delivery of MIDEO® Advance Care Planning. MIDEO® is a tele-health or in-person tool which allows a patient's treatment decisions to be both heard and seen. It creates video advance directives that focus on patient safety and peace-of-mind for those of any age, and at any stage of life.

The MIDEO® University ACPE curriculum includes a combination of self-study modules via an e-learning platform, as well as online support and live interaction in social media groups.
