INCATech has been awarded a contract through the Army Corp of Engineers to support the State of California, Department of Conservation, Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Database Development Project.

This Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Database Development Project consists of database and web-based application design, and integration of tabular, documentary, and spatial data for the California Department of Conservation’s (DOC), Division of Mine Reclamation (DMR), Abandoned Mine Lands Program. This is the first phase of the project; to modernize the database to enable storing of all relevant AML data, integration with mobile data collection, and provide a secured web-based front-end application.

INCATech will provide the Restoration of Abandoned Mine Sites (RAMS) stakeholders with the services and expertise to enhance and expand its abandoned mine database and database processes in California through implementation of current Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and database platform standards.

The development will incorporate current technologies in use at the DOC for a design and build of a web-based front-end application that will access abandoned mine data located in a new SQL database provided by DOC. The front-end will provide for editing, viewing, and reporting the data.
