NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- India L. Sneed, a Government Law & Policy Practice associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's New York office has been named to City & State's 2021 "Black Power 100" list.
According to the publication, the list recognizes Black leaders as well as Black business executives, nonprofit leaders, union officials, advisers, advocates, and activists who are blazing new trails in New York.
Sneed focuses her practice on government relations and represents clients at the municipal, state, and federal level on election law matters including petition process, ballot access, challenges, and court proceedings. She previously served as a City Council member's chief of staff where she helped craft legislation. Sneed also worked at the Kings County District Attorney's office as a member of the Hon. Kenneth Thomson's inaugural class and accepted a position in the Civil Rights Bureau of the office – trying six cases before juries and the bench as first and second chair. She has been listed in City & State's "Above & Beyond" and "40 Under 40," The Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers magazine – New York Metro Super Lawyers.
