Industrial Truck Association (ITA) Announces New Chairman of the Board of Directors
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- The Industrial Truck Association (ITA) announced Mr. Brett Wood, President & CEO of Toyota Material Handling North America, is the new ITA Chairman of the Board of Directors effective January 22, 2015.
Mr. Wood, previously Vice Chairman of the Board, will complete the remaining term (2015) of Mr. Brian Butler, President & CEO, Kion North America, who announced his pending retirement from Kion.
Mr. Butler has served on the ITA Executive Committee since 2007 and was elected Chairman of the Board for 2014 and was reelected for 2015. Mr. Butler served with distinction during his tenure and led the US delegation at the most recent meeting of the Alliance of Industrial Truck Organizations (A.I.T.O.) in York, England when the participating organizations adopted their first ever guiding principles during the 17 years of the A.I.T.O.’s existence.
Mr. Wood (Toyota) has been a long serving member of the ITA’s Executive Committee and has also held previous Chairmanship positions within ITA. The ITA appreciates Mr. Butler’s years of service with the organization and welcomes Mr. Wood as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
