NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Addressing a need for an updated, user-driven resource to find the right legal technology anywhere in the world, Legaltechnologyhub.com (LTH) was today launched by co-founders Nikki Shaver and Chris Ford. LTH is aimed at anyone seeking information on the right legaltech tools, with events, awards, and more to come. Free to search for users and free to list for vendors, LTH has a mission to democratize access to legal technology.
Nikki is an internationally respected thought leader in legal innovation and knowledge management, having won the prestigious ILTA Innovative Leader of the Year Award 2020. She also has a decade of experience as a practicing lawyer in both law firm and corporate environments.
"Legaltech Hub solves a problem for innovation and legal operations professionals that has only been exacerbated as the legaltech market booms: the difficulty of finding the right tool to address a particular use case that also meets the specific requirements of a given commercial legal environment."
Users are already enjoying the benefits from the ability to search the 1500+ tools that comprise the current directory.
"It provides the knowledge of the legal tech landscape at your fingertips, a tech agnostic way of searching across vendors that gets around marketing hyperbole, and instead conveys actual, useful information" according to Kate Simpson, National Director of Knowledge and Practice Innovation. Bennett Jones LLP.
"The tool is very important as I (and I believe many) have longed for a "one stop shop" for searching, discovering and learning about legal technology. I can't wait for the future development of it, and seeing the additional features coming up. I already use the site for work all the time" says Malin Männikkö, Legal Technologist at DLA Piper.
Every tool is listed for free, but vendors also have the option of enhanced paid listings as well as banner advertising and a promoted 'Tool of the Month' feature. iManage was the first vendor to join as launch partner, followed by Litera. The site is also launching with advertising by timekeeping tool Ping and will feature Ilves, a Finnish enterprise search vendor, as the first tool of the month.
"As a vendor, one of the biggest challenges we face is trying to match with customers who need a solution like ours. We principally rely on word of mouth to meet potential customers. LTH gives us a new and reliable way to meet more potential customers who want to learn about our solution" according to Horace Wu from Syntheia.
A portion of each premium listing sold will go towards supporting a cause in the industry. The first of these is LWOW, with Legaltech Hub aiming to raise enough money to support a team of international law students for the 2021 edition.
