Infosecurity North America Expo and Conference kicked off its second and final day in New York City with an opening keynote from NSA Technical Director, Dave Hogue, surrounding strategies for developing an innovative cyber defense approach. Spearheaded by the Infosecurity Group, the global knowledge hub for the information security community, Infosecurity North America is one of the foremost events on the cybersecurity industry calendar.
Day Two highlights include:
- NSA Technical Director, Dave Hogue, who took the stage this morning to open the event’s keynote lineup with a session entitled “Developing an Innovative Cyber Defense Approach.”
- Kisi, provider of cloud-based door access control systems leveraging mobile and physical credentials, was crowned Infosecurity North America’s Cybersecurity Start Up of the Year.
- Tech reporters from the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, and more returned to take part in Day Two’s proceedings and activities.
- Attendees gleaned insights on topics ranging from Dark Web monitoring and GDPR privacy compliance, to cloud security and CCSI (Cyber Crime Scene Investigation) in over twenty presentations throughout the day

Infosecurity North America will return next year as a co-branded effort with ISACA per a partnership finalized by both organizations this week.
