InfoSystems' Kelly Nuckolls Named Finalist for ChaTech Diversity & Inclusion Award
Kelly Nuckolls recognized as a finalist for the Chattanooga Technology Council's (ChaTech) IT Champion for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Award.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., June 30, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- We are thrilled to announce that our very own Kelly Nuckolls was recently recognized as a finalist for the Chattanooga Technology Council's (ChaTech) IT Champion for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Award.
Although Kelly has only been a part of the InfoSystems team since August of 2020, her impact on the business could be felt almost immediately. That's because her efforts to build momentum surrounding diversity and inclusion in the IT space were in progress long before she began her tenure with InfoSystems.
Kelly's commitment to diversity and inclusion stems from challenges she's faced in her 15+ year career as a female in IT. In a field largely dominated by male voices, she's seen firsthand how difficult it can be to ensure all views are represented and considered.
Kelly is a self-proclaimed relationships enthusiast, and it's easy to see in her interactions with her team, business partners, vendors, and other key players in InfoSystems' overarching success.
"A team needs to represent not just the customers you are serving but the communities they serve as well," Kelly said. "A diverse team can help you do that. By being intentional about surrounding yourself with people who can bring different perspectives and experiences to the table, everyone will benefit."
Join us in congratulating Kelly on this well-deserved recognition, and register for free tickets to ChaTech's second annual TechX Awards ceremony, to be hosted virtually on August 18 at noon.
