zCost's Director of Alliances Carlos Ramirez will give a talk titled "Is all that z/OS log data valuable?" Ramirez's session will focus on how to use massive amounts of data, what to do with it, and how to determine what is useful and what is not. The session will help those looking to gather data in real-time, filter for the useful bits of decision support and analyze it for improved cost efficiency.
The learning sessions throughout the week will focus on how to plan, architect, install, configure, migrate, operate and tune IBM infrastructures. The 700+ sessions available will span the three topics, IBM Power Systems; IBM Z and LinuxONE; and IBM Storage and SDI.
Software Demos From Booth #46
Infotel's live demos will focus on their software solutions designed to help optimize IBM systems' data management and application performance. Their products DB/IQ and iDBA work to automate SQL code quality assurance for IBM Db2 and automate Db2 maintenance schedules with artificial intelligence technology respectively. zCost Management will join Infotel's live demos with their DINO Explorer solution, a big-data oriented platform that gathers data from z/OS into a single distributed repository for strategic decision support.
