Innovative Business Software Selects VAZATA to Deliver Cloud IaaS Platform
Plano, TX (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed hosting and colocation provider has announced it was selected by Innovative Business Software (IBS) to deliver the first-ever UL certified cloud-based security alarm monitoring product. The solution is hosted on the VAZATA vStructure™ Cloud IaaS platform and required VAZATA’s auditing support to obtain UL Certification for the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) based security solution. The VAZATA data center, where the services are hosted, underwent an audit and obtained the UL certification.
VAZATA is the first ever, multi-tenant data center to obtain the certification. During the investigation, UL amended the required standard for compliance approval to include the power generation equipment (DRUPS) located in VAZATA’s Virginia data center called NoVa. Modifying set standards based on investigations are rare and has given VAZATA the distinction of being the first to modify such a standard.
IBS, a major supplier of Central Station automation software throughout the US and Europe, was challenged with finding a cloud platform that supported their mission critical applications while insuring availability, compliance and stability.
