SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Inscape Data Corporation today announced the launch of its new LinkPower™ UPS1048V2 DC Uninterruptible Power Supply and UPMS2000 Uninterrupted Power Management System at CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver, Colorado. CEDIA Expo attendees can see the new LinkPower™ solutions at Inscape Data Booth C68, September 2–4.
CEDIA Expo is a leading event for the residential systems integration and smart-home industry, bringing together smart-home and systems integrators, AV and custom installers, security and IT professionals, designers, builders, and technology manufacturers. The new LinkPower™ platform is designed to help keep critical network equipment running during power interruptions. The UPS1048V2 is an IP68 outdoor weatherproof UPS system designed for demanding outdoor environments. It provides flexible 48V DC battery backup, while the UPMS2000 lets users remotely monitor power and battery conditions, receive alarms, review system status, and manage the power system.
UPS1048V2 — IP68 Outdoor Weatherproof 48V DC Battery Backup
Building on the first-generation UPS1048, the UPS1048V2 combines an IP68-rated, weatherproof outdoor enclosure with flexible 48V DC battery backup. It supports both AGM and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, with adjustable 48V to 58.4V DC output and 0.5A to 1.5A charging current. Battery configurations from 7Ah to 30Ah allow integrators to select the backup capacity and runtime that best fit each installation.
UPMS2000 — Remote Power Monitoring and Management
The UPMS2000 adds remote monitoring and management to the 48V DC power system through a web-based interface and Ethernet connection. Users can check AC input, DC output, connected load, battery status, temperature, system health, and alarms from a remote location. For integration with other network and management systems, it also supports HTTP, Modbus TCP, MQTT, DHCP/static IP, NTP, event history, and trend monitoring.
Designed for Smart Home, Security, and Outdoor Networks
The IP68 outdoor weatherproof UPS1048V2, together with the UPMS2000 and LinkPower™ outdoor networking solutions, provides an integrated platform for high-end residential systems, security surveillance, outdoor wireless networks, enterprise and campus networks, mobile security trailers, and selected smart-city applications.

Powering Mobile Security Trailers
Mobile security trailers often combine cameras, PoE networking equipment, cellular or wireless communications, sensors, and other devices that operate at different DC voltages. The UPS1048V2 provides a common 48V DC backup-power foundation that can serve as the core of a modular power architecture for these deployments.
With additional 48V-to-12V DC and 48V-to-24V DC converters, mobile security trailer integrators will be able to design network and power systems around a single 48V backup platform while also supporting equipment that requires 12V DC, 24V DC, or 48V DC power. This modular approach gives integrators greater flexibility when selecting cameras, routers, wireless devices, controllers, and other trailer components for each project.
Inscape Data's 48V-to-12V DC and 48V-to-24V DC converter options are scheduled to be available in early November 2026.
