InspiriTec, Inc. Celebrates Fourth Straight Year on Philly.com Top Workplaces List
InspiriTec, Inc., an award-winning contact center and IT help-desk service provider headquartered in Philadelphia, has been selected to the Philly.com Top 200 Workplaces List for the fourth year in a row.
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For the fourth year in a row, InspiriTec, Inc. has made the Philly.com list of Top 200 Workplaces in the Delaware Valley area. The list is based solely on employee responses to workplace surveys by Exton-based Energage LLC of hundreds of participating companies.
"We're excited about being honored once again," says InspiriTec founder and CEO John Connolly. "But we're also mindful that it's our staff who have g;otten us here. They've given kind and constructive comments on the Top Workplaces survey, and they've shown amazing flexibility and resilience throughout this unprecedented year of 2020."
Our mission. Founded in 2000, InspiriTec is a nonprofit specializing in contact center and IT help desk services. The company mission is to serve clients to the highest standards, and to hire veterans, professionals with disabilities, and disadvantaged individuals. Its model as a "social entrepreneurship" combines the efficiency of a business with the inspiration of a social-service organization.
Out of 673 total InspiriTec employees, 492 are professionals with disabilities, including 130 veterans, 46 of whom are Wounded Warriors, vets wounded since Sept. 11, 2001. InspiriTec has headquarters in Philadelphia and operating facilities in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania; Newark, New Jersey; and Fort Knox, Kentucky. Prominent clients include the U.S. Department of Defense, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the State of New Jersey.
The Top 200 Workplaces. Each year since 2010, Energage, which does surveys for dozens of major newspapers, has polled workers in nominated companies in the Philadelphia area and shared results with Philly.com. Companies are ranked according to what workers have to say about their companies. InspiriTec began its run on the list in 2017.
Resilience and Flexibility. The coronavirus may have hit U.S. businesses hard, Connolly says, but clients still urgently need InspiriTec's communications services. Resilience and flexibility have been key to navigating the uncharted waters of 2020. "We had to jump into lifeboats and tether ourselves together with new technologies and new ways of doing things," Connolly says. "The staff have really shown us strengths and capabilities we didn't know we had." Staff have readily converted to a work-from-home business style, "and at the same time we're staying aware of our clients' needs at every turn."
Employee comments. Once again, employees responding to the Top Workplace survey stress InspiriTec's inclusiveness, responsiveness, and encouraging atmosphere. One writes, "the atmosphere is supportive and inclusive and is very accommodating to my disability. I find the work interesting and rewarding as I truly enjoy helping others."
Another says simply, "This is a family work environment."
A virtual celebration of the Top Workplace announcement is now being planned by InspiriTec staff, Connolly says ― "and I hope I'm invited!"
