Most recently, he was the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Rewards Network, a technology-enabled provider of financing and marketing services to the U.S. restaurant industry, where he led the company through a period of tremendous growth.
Previously, Kazan was the CEO of Tribune Media Services (now known as Gracenote, a Nielsen company), a global leader in entertainment-related information services. His prior experiences also include senior strategy and corporate development roles at Tribune Company.
“Dan has an impressive track record of helping businesses evolve and expand, and we are excited for him to join the company,” said Michael Cline, Chairman of the Board. “His broad range of experience in strategy, operations and strategic transactions will greatly benefit Insureon as it continues its mission as a leading insurance technology company and provider of world-class insurance products to small- and medium-sized businesses.”
“I am honored by this appointment,” Kazan said. “I look forward to working with the Insureon team and all of our valuable insurance carriers and other partners to continue the company’s growth. I also want to congratulate and thank Ted for building an incredible business over the past seven years. His continued involvement as Co-Chairman of the Board will be extremely valuable.”
In his role as Co-Chairman of the Board, Devine will be focused on clients and markets. He has agreed to a multi-year deal to stay involved in the firm.
“I am excited to support Dan as he takes Insureon to the next level of performance,” Devine said. “He is the right leader at the right time for the company. We have tremendous clients and carrier partners who will only see continued improved performance under Dan’s and the team’s leadership.”
