NORTH ADAMS, Mass., Sept. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- inTech Trailers and RacingJunk.com, the flagship site of the Internet Brands Auto Classifieds group, are pleased to announce that stage one of the Max the Tach IV trailer giveaway is now in progress. This program includes the chance to win a custom 24-foot race trailer from inTech, along with a variety of prizes and sponsorship opportunities from some of the biggest names in racing including Summit, Forgeline, Optima Battery and more. Grassroots racers have until October 8, 2019 to sign up for consideration. The winner will be announced at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, IN this December.
inTech Trailers and RacingJunk are both organizations committed to grassroots racing. As the world's largest online race and performance classifieds, RacingJunk fosters relationships with professional racers and sanctioning bodies, along with OEMs and small manufacturers. But the heart of the business is the weekend racer, the enthusiast looking to turn a hobby into a dream.
"The grassroots racer is our core audience, and our partnerships with companies who support them is essential. This contest allows us to showcase both parts of the industry," says Mark Menadier, Business Development Director for the Internet Brands Auto Classifieds
"We strongly believe that grassroots racers are the foundation for the entire racing industry, yet their opportunities to get sponsorships are much more limited because they are not professionally sponsored," agrees Jim McConnell, Sales Manager for inTech Trailers. "They typically work a job all day and then spend many evenings getting whatever vehicle they may race ready to race on the weekend. We wanted to change that, for at least a few lucky racers, by offering an opportunity for a grassroots racer to have an inTech trailer with no strings attached other than being a great brand ambassador for inTech and all of the sponsors participating in the Max the Tach program."
The contest involves three stages. To enter, racers must submit a video talking about their race career and why they need the trailer. Once the videos are compiled, friends, fans and family vote on the winners, making it a true community effort. In this fourth year of the contest, the stakes are higher than ever as inTech partners with a host of racing's top names including RacingJunk, Optima, Summit Racing, Champion Racing Oil, Adams Polishes, Schoshe, Forgeline, USMA, QA1.
The grand prize winner will receive a new, 24-foot trailer and sponsorship package from inTech. 2nd and 3rd place contestants will win prize packages including goods from Summit Racing, Champion Racing Oil, Optima Battery, QA1, and more!
Winners will be announced on December 13, 2019, live at the Performance Racing Industry Show.
Last year's Max the Tach III winner was Michele Abbate, a road racer from Henderson, New Jersey who won a custom 28-foot car hauler.
