Integro Health Systems announces management agreement with Aurora Behavioral Health Systems
Aurora Behavioral Health Systems assumes management responsibility for Integro Health Systems' three behavioral health inpatient and outpatient triage/observation units. The agreement represents an initial step toward a broader planned collaboration.
PHOENIX, Nov. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Integro Health Systems, Inc. ("Integro"), an operator of three 16-bed behavioral health inpatient facilities as well as an outpatient triage and observation unit, today announced it has signed a management agreement with Aurora Behavioral Health Systems, LLC ("Aurora Arizona"). The agreement calls for Aurora Arizona to take over executive leadership and management operations of the facilities, effective immediately.
The Aurora Arizona team is led by Bruce Waldo, Chief Executive Officer, and Rebekah Francis, Chief Financial Officer, who bring years of professional hospital operations experience to Integro. They will continue in their current roles at both of Aurora Arizona's other two facilities in Tempe and Glendale. Aurora Arizona is part of Signature Healthcare Services, LLC ("Signature") based in Corona, California, one of the largest privately held psychiatric hospital companies in the country, serving thousands of patients every year. Signature delivers mental health and substance abuse treatment through its 16 acute care hospitals located in California, Illinois, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts and Texas.
Gregory Anderson, current Chief Executive Officer of Integro, will relinquish the operational role and become Chairman of the Board of Directors. He will remain actively involved in executive oversight, strategic planning and corporate development for the company.
"We are very excited to bring Bruce and Beka to Integro and to be able to draw on the full resources of Aurora's much larger hospital organization," Anderson said. "This is a positive fresh infusion of leadership talent and is a natural next step forward for our company as we look toward expansion. Aurora will bring a steady hand and consistent management approach which they have developed and proven over time."
The management agreement represents an initial step towards a larger relationship between principals of both parties. Plans include the expansion of the Integro concept at the existing campus at 1501 E Orangewood, Phoenix, AZ, the operation of the Children's Hospital at 601 E Jerome Ave, Mesa, AZ and the development of additional facilities.
