Intelligraphics Delivers Windows Embedded Compact 7 (WEC7) IGX Wi-Fi Soft AP For Improved Operational Efficiency and Safety In Mobile Devices
Intelligraphics Inc., the industry leader in intelligent roaming solutions and wireless driver development services, today announced the availability of its IGX SoftAP solution for WEC7 and WinCE6 devices. The IGX SoftAP provides a proven, readily deployable solution for Industrial, Medical and IOT Products.
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Windows Embedded Compact is a secure hard Real-Time, robust, high-performance operating system (OS), packaged in small footprint with the latest Networking, Multimedia and Communication technologies. Its ease of use, reasonable cost of development and stability makes Windows Embedded a strong platform for broad range of mobile devices and embedded platforms. Previously many popular Wi-Fi Chipsets have been limited to Station mode. Workarounds using Bluetooth have been deployed but are limited by range, throughput and interference issues with existing Wi-Fi networks.
"The IGX Wi-Fi SoftAP provides a proven, easy to use and readily deployable solution by offering short-time high-speed connectivity between two devices (large file transfer) or constant connectivity between group of devices (Wi-Fi surveillance systems) without disconnections," said Scott Lawson CEO Intelligraphics.
