Intempus acquires Jamestowne Apartments in Indianapolis, reaching 600 units in Sub-Market
Despite the hardships plaguing the nation and its effects on the housing industry, Intempus has remained vigilant in its multifamily acquisition plan in Indianapolis sub-market. Intempus at the end of July acquired the Jamestowne Apartments in Indianapolis. A community consisting of 144 market rate apartment units. This most recent transaction solidifies Intempus's presence in Indianapolis and brings its portfolio to just shy of 600 units.
INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The growth for Intempus in the Indianapolis market has been spectacular, Intempus has built this portfolio in less than two years. Eugene Korsunsky of Intempus states "we are very bullish and committed to the Indianapolis market, we are looking at this market as our second home".
Since 2018, Intempus expanded into the area with the acquisition of Park Forest Apartments and The Jeffersonian Apartments, with these deals consisting of 100 units worth $6.0M and 112 units worth $6.9M, respectively. Shortly following this, Intempus expanded to Beech Grove Place with over 50 units that are worth $2 million.
Given the company's already-successful track record in its California home, Intempus' aggressive growth in Indianapolis should come as no surprise. Even with setbacks due to current circumstances, Intempus has remained persistent with furthering their aims, with the goal being an acquirement of at least 1,000 units before the end of 2021. And considering the momentum Intempus has already picked up, it's safe to say this company is more than capable of reaching its goal.
