Interdean Investigate Visa Access Around the World
(PRWEB UK) 20 December 2013 -- It has been reported by Expat Forum that recent research has revealed British, Finnish, and Swedish passports give the largest range of visa-free access to countries around the world. The research, which was conducted by Henley & Partners in the annual Visa Restrictions Index, found that individuals holding British, Finnish, or Swedish passports can visit 173 countries out of 219 countries in the world without a visa. The report discovered that a country being a part of the European Union is a significant factor determining the ease of travel between countries, with 9 EU countries appearing in the top 10, alongside the United States. The firm conducting the research also found there to be a correlation between wealth and access to worldwide countries, with countries including Canada, Japan and New Zealand closely following the top ten countries on the list.
While countries such as Britain, Sweden, and Finland appeared at the top of the list, the research, which was conducted in collaboration with the International Air Transport Association, revealed that the passports offering more limited visa free access were India and China, with an Indian passport providing access to 52 countries. Other countries such as Andorra and Monaco provide travel to fewer than 150 countries.
As international removals experts, the experts at Interdean provide an extensive range of visa and immigration services, helping make the process of applying for visas as simple as possible. A representative for the company offered their comments on the recent research:
“This research offers interesting information into the ease of travel around the world. While it can be simple to travel to a destination by plane, train, or ferry, it’s important that legal requirements such as visas are not forgotten. While being a member of EU has many benefits to citizens in terms of travel, there are a number of countries which still require visas for access. For British citizens moving to Australia, for example, visas are required to legally live and work in the country. While the process can seem confusing and complicated, our services strive to make the process run and smoothly as possible and ensure your move overseas gets off to the best start.”
