(PRWEB UK) 4 July 2013 -- According to an article published on Work Permit on the 19th June 2013, The Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development has released its annual international migration outlook for 2013. The report details immigration in each of the 34 countries that are members of the OECD including the UK, Brazil, Mexico, the US and Thailand.
Findings showed that the number of the people granted citizenship in the UK rose in 2012, whilst those claiming asylum also increased. Tier 1 applicants experienced a drop in figures compared to last year as the category closed halfway through the year.
The UK findings were of great interest to UK based moving company Interdean. The company regularly helps families and employees of large organisations move overseas offering a wide range of moving services as well as assistance with visa and immigration. Upon hearing this year’s report, a spokesperson from the company added:
“Migration is of course of great interest to us and it is intriguing to see the amount of people moving around the world as well as moving to the UK. Worldwide migration is always occurring and this report allows us to compare the movements to previous years and cast predictions for next.”
