(ISTS) recognizes organizations in Middle Tennessee and beyond that are committed to making a real difference in people's lives.
This year, ISTS is proud to support The Nashville Food Project (TNFP), a Nashville-based charity whose mission is "Bringing people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food, with the goals of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in our city."
In 2020, TNFP's gardens produced more than 60,000 servings of fruits and vegetables, shared more than 215,000 meals with food insecure guests and provided meals to 77 meal partner sites.
