NEW YORK, Dec. 16, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wolfe's Den, officially opening on January 2, 2025, is redefining what it means to belong to a social club in New York City. This community-driven space, located inside Elsie Rooftop in the heart of Bryant Park, caters to corporate executives in finance, law, real estate, healthcare, and other esteemed fields that are typically declined from social clubs for not fitting the "creative" mold, particularly those based in Midtown Manhattan, who have long sought a sophisticated venue for exclusive socializing.
Wolfe's Den, inspired by the innovative spirit of Elsie de Wolfe, the first woman to own a penthouse in New York City in 1916 and known for connecting business and creative professionals to one another, is where connections are made, ideas flourish, and members experience unique opportunities to engage, learn, and elevate their professional and personal lives. She is regarded as the "first influencer" of our time, and socialites gathered in her home for entertainment and looked to her for their own inspirations. With exclusive events like private performances, gourmet tastings, and thought-provoking panels, Wolfe's Den offers its members something beyond the ordinary—a seat at the table with Manhattan's elite professionals - much like guests enjoyed in Elsie de Wolfe's New York City penthouse.
The ownership team behind Wolfe's Den includes industry visionaries with extensive expertise in hospitality and lifestyle design. Raizada Vaid and Jacob Aini, celebrated for their work with the Refinery Hotel and other iconic properties, are joined by Eli and Isaac Chetrit, Kanvar Singh, Eric Biberman, and Ron Malhotra. Together, their mission is to create a space that genuinely encourages productive connection.
To support this mission, Wolfe's Den is launching its AI-generated networking concierge service, "Ask Elsie". Members who opt in to this feature will receive access to the network and connect with other members through meaningful introductions facilitated by the Ask Elsie feature.
"Our mission with this social membership club is to create meaningful, authentic connections among corporate professionals in ways that have never been possible," said Eric Biberman, Owner of Wolfe's Den. "With the launch of our digital concierge service, Ask Elsie, we're taking this mission a step further. Now, members can request meetings with others directly, and Ask Elsie will make introductions to foster real connections and build relationships that truly give people a seat at the table. We believe this feature will be transformative in encouraging genuine engagement within our community."
Wolfe's Den celebrates the late de Wolfe's legacy as a visionary who valued style, sophistication, and forward-thinking. Known for her extravagant style and business acumen, de Wolfe appreciated those in the business world who brought both practicality and imagination to their work. Wolfe's Den honors her by fostering a community where business, style and sophistication are at the forefront. It is here that all professionals have a seat at the table, not just those deemed as creative professionals.
Alongside its Ask Elsie service, Wolfe's Den has introduced a creative concept to foster connections among members. They've designed a variety of table coasters with playful messages, such as "Let's Talk Networking" for those eager to discuss business ideas, "Open to More Than Just Cocktails" for anyone seeking potential romantic connections, and "Not Today, Thanks" for those who prefer to focus on their own. In a world where striking up conversations can be daunting, Wolfe's Den simplifies the process, making it effortless to build friendships and meaningful connections.
Just as Elsie de Wolfe offered top-tier caviar and truffles to guests in her original penthouse, Wolfe's Den continues this tradition of luxury. The menu features a rotating selection of the finest caviar and truffles sourced from the best purveyors, complemented by premium spirits like Macallan 12 Double Cask.
Members can expect thoughtful lunch and dinner menus in addition to a signature cocktail cart service that brings timeless sophistication with a modern flair. With programming developed by Christian Morasco, Vice President of Operations, guests can indulge in classics reimagined, such as a uniquely crafted Negroni or a signature twist on the iconic martini, both prepared tableside by a skilled mixologist every evening.
Renowned designer Delphine Mauroit brought Wolfe's Den to life, blending gilded accents and art-deco influences with modern refinement. Every detail—from the plush furnishings to the curated art—was designed to evoke a sense of understated luxury while paying homage to Elsie de Wolfe's avant-garde approach to style and functionality.
Annual membership fees start at $1,000 with no initiation fee. In a unique offer, Wolfe's Den applies the first year's membership fee directly as a credit toward members' food and beverage accounts. Members are welcome to work, take calls, host clients, and socialize, with access available Monday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on weekends.
