After the big success of the SRP-S300 3-inch(80mm) linerless label printer in Hospitality industry, BIXOLON is introducing the world's first 4-inch(114mm) exclusive linerless desktop label printer, XL5-40, for e-commerce, logistics and manufacturing industries. Ensuring extreme reliability with XL5-40's uniquely designed Anti-jamming, Anti-curling, long-lasting two platen rollers, paper path, and guillotine cutting system with a peel-off sensor, Taken Sensor™. Multiple linerless labels certified by BIXOLON and BIXOLON's own supply, B-linerless™ will optimize consistent operations.
With the linerless label solution, users will cut a lot of operating costs. Linerless labels have approx. 1.5 times more length in a roll and flexible to print multiple length labels compare to 4-inch by 6-inch traditional gap labels. It will cut media, storage and transportation expenses, while reducing downtime. Additionally this solution is greener and safer. Simply as the liner is eliminated, waste is reduced. Alongside the slippery silicone liners are removed from the manufacturing area, the risk of slip-and-fall will be also reduced.
The XL5-40 supports 203dpi and 300dpi print resolution options. The standard XL5-40 model offers the world's fastest "linerless label printing" speed up to 6ips(152 mm/sec) at 203dpi to produce high-quality printing text, graphics and 1D/2D barcodes. It is fully compatible with market-leading programming languages including SLCS, BPL-Z™ and BPL-E™.
Providing optional mono LCD display with an intuitive icon driven menu for simple set up and management. Supporting a media thickness up to 0.09 ~ 0.20 mm, with USB v2.0 and USB Host interfaces as standard. Plus optional Serial, 10/100 Ethernet, internal MFi certified Bluetooth v4.2 (Classic and LE) and dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN.
