The Wordsmith Extension enables Tableau customers to interact with their data and communicate insights by pairing data visualizations with written analytics.

Updating in real time as users explore their dashboards, Wordsmith uses the data behind a Tableau dashboard to author personalized and prescriptive written analyses that sounds just like a human analyst wrote them.

Also encompassed in the announcement is the release of three NLG-ready Tableau Dashboard Starters. Automated Insights teamed with Tableau to produce automated, written analytics for Tableau’s Salesforce Starters Opportunity Overview dashboard, which gives a written analysis of pipeline health. With the Oracle Eloqua Campaign Overview dashboard, users can receive automated email marketing reports. Tableau customers interested in receiving automated analysis of IT request metrics can utilize the Wordsmith Extension for ServiceNow Request Report dashboard.
