TEMPE, Ariz., April 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ProTek Devices has introduced a new series of AEC-Q101 qualified
transient voltage suppressor arrays (TVS arrays) for circuit protection in aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, intelligent control systems and telecommunications applications. The new PAM37SDxxAL/CAL series is available in multiple voltages.
The TVS components are compatible with IEC standards 61000-4-2 (ESD): air 15kV, contact 8kV, 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A, 5/50ns, and with 61000-4-5 (surge): 8/20 micro seconds waveform. They also provide 400 watts peak pulse power per line (typical = 10/1000 micro seconds), low inductance and first-rate clamping capability. In addition, the PAM37SDxxAL/CAL series of TVS arrays offer unidirectional and bidirectional configuration options, low leakage current of 1 microampere (typical), a fast response time and are also RoHS and REACH compliant.
Mechanical, Packaging and Availability Information
The PAM37SDxxAL/CAL series is now available in the space-saving molded SOD-123FL package with an approximate weight of just 0.0136 grams. Other key mechanical characteristics include lead-free pure-tin plating (annealed) and a solder reflow temperature (pure-tin - Sn, 100) of 260-270 degrees Celsius. The components are provided on 12mm tape and reel per EIA standard 481 in quantities starting at 3,000. The new TVS array series also has a flammability rating of UL 94V-0.
