Medical Training Aid Invented by InventHelp Client (ATH-365)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) March 29, 2016 -- An inventor, from Fort Benning, Ga., thought there needed to be a more effective way to instruct medical students how to position an intravenous catheter, so she invented the FAKE LEGS.
The FAKE LEGS provides an effective way to teach individuals to correctly position an IV catheter. In doing so, it offers an alternative to conventional teaching aids. As a result, it provides added educational value and it could help to reduce complications associated with placing IV catheters. The invention features a practical design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for medical facilities and educational institutions. Additionally, the FAKE LEGS is producible in design variations.
The inventor described the invention design. “My design assists medical students in learning the proper placement of an IV catheter.”
The original design was submitted to the Atlanta office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
